Human 1: Interviewer
«Could you introduce yourself and explain the different subjects in your work?»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora
« I’m a poet and a creative professional. As
a professional, I’ve collaborated with brands such as Bathing Ape, Staple Design, Zoo Magazine, Disney, and Supreme. These were my fashion days. As a poet, I leverage technology and my name in the metaverse and web3 is Futuradora, I leverage the Chia blockchain
and I weave analog and digital realms together and create poetry and infuse technology and humanity and try to find a conversation piece for that.»

Human 1: Interviewer «Okay. Perfect.»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora «That was terrible, but anyway.»

Human 1: Interviewer
« No, it’s perfect. One of the strong themes I found on your website is the idea of healing the world. It’s a big word so … I believe it’s important for many artists to heal the world. Can you share more about this idea and how it influences your work?»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora
« Sure, I think, you know, everyone’s a poet, right? I think for myself, I am really, really in tune with, with my feelings and the energy of the work that I do, and the art that I create wich is inspired by everything around me. And I think because of that, well, what I see as a human being on Earth and everything that’s going on and how you know, us as humanity, we’re all connected and we all see the tragedies that’s happening and the communications
that can be had that aren’t being had. That for myself, each poem that I create and each project that I create, the essence of all my projects stem from the energy of love, the energy of unity. And with that starting point and that honest conversation I have with the audience as an artist, it also inspires other people to be honest about communication and about coming forth, from a perspective of positivity and having that conversation or putting out that energy is healing. So for myself as a poet, every word that I use is created from a place of love and every word that people say has energy. So for me, that’s how I feel when I do my line of work, that I’m healing and putting out love on Earth.»

Human 1: Interviewer
«Okay, perfect. And then, what I understand from your work on your website, it includes
a stronger emotion of human elements. Big part of your work talk about human?»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora «Yeah, humanity, exactly.»

Human 1: Interviewer
« And sometimes, and for many people, the paradox of the technology and human was very important. And how do you deal with this?»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora
« That’s a great question. For very long time, I was very, how do I say, I was very uneasy about how rapid technology was affecting humanity to the point that the tech was so
fast that I observed humans becoming non- humans, becoming less emotion, more showing, more materialistic, more, you know, using technology in a way that hides the human side and the connection. So I was very hesitant to incorporate technology. And because of that wall that I saw in myself and that barrier, I chose to really hone in on it and explore why. Why I had this hesitation of technology. Even though I knew why, but I wanted to discover what is past that. What if I did accept it? Cuz this is the future of of humanity, right? And also the technology is only a reflection of who we are. Also talking about AI and what AI can do as a tool to help us work more efficiently or explore unexplored environments or behaviors. So for me, when I created Futuradora, it was very important for me to explore technology and learn about the different segments of technology and apply that education onto my work. So, for me to bring this whole new world, even in the line of work that I do as an artist,
I make sure that there is a very analog side of my creativity, and also that’s balanced with
the digital side, the technology side. So that conversation between these two worlds that I create with Futura Dora and other creators as well, I make sure that these two worlds are still connected, that it’s not very separate. So I make sure that the technology is slow instead of fast.»

Human 1: Interviewer
« What is the journey to arrive at the creation of Isadora character?»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora
«I think for myself, the journey as a poet, as
a creative, everytime I wrote I always wrote by hand. So every poem, every book, everything was very analog.»

Human 1: Interviewer
« It’s an important detail to write by hand… You don’t write on a computer?»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora « No, as Isadora, not. No.»

Human 2: Izadora/Futuradora
« I’m explaining where I was to how the journey between Isadora and Futuradora and how these two characters live together or how they met. So just being, observing what the world, how the world was changing and making sure that I am part of the change. I think the journeyis just observing your surroundings, right? Your art will always, for myself, my art always reflects the time that I’m in, the time that we’re in as humans, and it’s kind of like a stamp card, like a stepping stone. So the journey for analog and the digital to come in, it was inevitable that I evolved into technology because there’s so much, I would say, a lot of negativity around technology and a lot of positive things about technology, but it’s almost like the same, there’s a lot of, let’s say, you know, 50% is saying that technology is not good, and the other 50% saying that it’s good, right? It’s a balance. So for myself, it was important to also bring myself to create Futuradora, to have a balance within my work as an artist. Or else I’d be an unbalanced artist.»
